Young Lawyers Section

The Young Lawyers Section of the Delaware County Bar Association is one of the most active sections of the DCBA and a great section to join if you are new to the DCBA.  Not only do we offer excellent networking opportunities, but we also provide various opportunities to give back to the legal and general community.  

The YLS hosts a variety of events throughout the year such as the Judge's Cocktail Party in the Spring, a Texas Hold 'Em Tournament twice a year, a Phillies' Games Tailgate in the summer and a number happy hours.  Additionally, we participate in the Annual Bench Bar Conference each summer by presenting a Continuing Legal Education seminar.  We also host a speaker each year, usually for CLE credits.  In terms of community outreach, the YLS sponsors a Holiday Party for Underprivileged Children, and in 2011 and 2012, we sponsored our first 5k Run/Walk benefitting the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House.
