Delaware County Public Access (On Line Services) - ATTENTION DCBA MEMBERS:

County Council member and former Bar Association Director Christine Fizzano Cannon has been working with staff from the County’s Data Processing department and with the Delaware County Webmaster to implement improvements to the County website and, in particular, the public access, on-line services, portion of the web site frequently used by our members

Gone are the days of extensive website downtime, inability to move backwards and forwards using your browser in the public access system, and the inability to view and print a civil docket without being thrown out of the system. Delaware County recently launched an improved public access page (go to www.co.delaware.pa.us and click on “Public Access (On Line Services)” in the left-hand column).

The following improvements will aid members of our Bar Association:

  • Expanded and improved public access to Court of Common Pleas civil dockets and civil judgment records, including ability to view and print an entire docket on one continuous document with easy-to-view graphics and user-friendly searching and imaging;
  • Direct link to Pennsylvania Criminal Court dockets;
  • Access to more downloadable forms so users can complete them at the office or at home;
  • Easier access to public information and records, including real estate tax parcel information that includes a highlighted designation as to whether the property is subject to the Homestead Exemption, the provision of a map of the parcel being viewed, and detailed property record information.
  • An upgraded server that increases the reliability of the site and reduces connection failures, dramatically reducing unscheduled web site down time.
  • Users can now move backward and forward between all web pages, including public access pages, with ease and without the user temporarily losing access to a page or the site.
  • There is also increased security for county government and the individual users on the site.

Improvements to the Web site are ongoing and County Council welcomes continued input from the Bar Association.  Additional comments and suggestions may be sent via email to County Council via webmaster@co.delaware.pa.us.
