Welcome to the Delaware County Bar Association!

By definition, a Bar Association is an organization of lawyers established to promote professional competence, enforce standards of ethical conduct, and encourage a spirit of public service among members of the legal profession.

Since 1872, the Delaware County Bar Association has embodied these principles. A dynamic organization with 1,200 members, the Delaware County Bar Association offers attorneys opportunities for networking, provides educational programming, and supports its members through mentoring and affinity programs. The Association is also committed to serving the public through its Lawyer Referral and Pro Bono Programs and community outreach activities.

The Delaware County Paralegal Association is conducting its annual Back Pack Drive for the benefit of children served by City Team Ministries.  The DCPA is asking for backpacks, 3-ring binders, lined paper, pencil holders, #2 pencils, pencil sharpeners, erasers, glue sticks, markers, plastic rulers, blunt scissors, and index dividers.  (Cash donations are also welcome.)  For more information, please contact Ellen Passerini at, or drop off donated items in the lobby of the Delaware County Bar Association.  Thank you for your support!
