Welcome to the new website of the Delaware County Bar Association. This site is still a work in progress and will be refined over the next few months so as to be able to bring the members important news about the Association, CLE opportunities, as well as membership benefits.
This site has been made possible by grants from the Pennsylvania Bar Insurance Fund and Trust Fund and the E. Wallace Chadwick Fund. We continue to thank them for their generosity.
Please make sure to visit the new Lawyers' Lounge in the basement of the Bar Association Building. The lounge has wireless capacity and comfortable work stations for your use while waiting for your case to be called or any other reason you need to use the facility.
2012 will bring new aspects to the practice of law to our County. Later this year, electronic filing of legal documents will begin. The Association has pledged its cooperation with the Bench and County to assist our members in getting ready for the change. We will be sponsoring educational seminars and demonstrations in advance of the implementation date. Please check this site regularly for that information.
I look forward to my year of service as your President. I am always accessible, so feel free to contact me at any time.
Joe Mattson, President, DCBA
